Welcome to McGrath Bespoke Opticians
We are one of the West End of Glasgow's longest standing family owned businesses, and have provided sight testing and spectacles for over 60 years.
We visit trade shows annually in Paris, Munich, Milan and London, and met with some family-owned companies that produce amazing eyewear. We were blown away by the standard of workmanship and the superb design. We brought these collections back to Byres Road and, to no great surprise our clients LOVED them
The Way We Work
Call us so that we can discover what you are really looking for. We will then arrange a one to one frame and lens fitting so that we can find the perfect solution for your needs at a relaxed pace. Our Dispensing Opticians are here to guide you through the selection process, no self service here!
We have the experience to narrow down our stock of over 1000 frames to the ones that will work best for you as an individual. We implemented this approach after our major re-fit in March 2019.

Because we travel annually to international trade shows we can offer something different to our clients. We carefully curate each collection and choose every piece from minimalist to bold chic to enable our clients to achieve the look they desire.
With our one to one personal consultation we take the pressure off by allowing you the time to find the style that is perfect for you. No self service here! We listen to you. We consider everything! Your age, height posture. Your build, your job, lifestyle and hobbies along with facial ratios shape and complexion and of course, your prescription.
